The John Clarke Nursing Center wins culinary challenge. JCRC recently participated in the annual Alzheimer’s Association Culinary Challenge held at Rhodes on the Pawtuxet. The event showcased eight chefs from the Rhode Island healthcare community. The John Clarke Nursing Center was chosen as the People’s Choice winner for overall taste and presentation. Its culinary team was led by chef Scott Hahn, whose entry included mini lobster rolls, clam chowder and mini fruit tarts. Hahn was assisted by team members sous chef Joe Ponte, chef Nic Vienne and dining room supervisor Denise Sullivan.

The 50 modern apartments in the two-level section feature living room, bedroom, full bath and all-electric kitchens. A wall connection in the living room is connected to the Master Antenna System.
